I find squink to be an interesting choice for scum to kill, especially since she didn't seem to be behaving any differently than she normally does. I would have thought that Bill might get the ax, although maybe we have a doc who protected him?

Don't claim for as long as possible. If we all claim we narrow down the places for our cop and doc to hide.

ok, yes i'm around. I think that waiting to claim is fine, that there was definite fishing going on with the mason name thing. That squink wasn't a confusing choice at all, she was probably chosen to drive confusion. and, i don't know, what else should i have thoughts about?

I trust mlerose 100% - but if any of you want me to change the password to make extra sure (and since Bill sort of gave the board-url away a bit in his quotes) - PM me on Giraffe - okay?

That kinda implies the scum are sharing the same board hmmmmm No they do not. Not in this game. But the board has (and is) being used for setting up other games and the url is not unfamiliar to people in (or watching) the Malazan-game. I'm pretty sure no one will guess both url and password (and even try to access boards like that) - but since we do have a sub, I'd rather ofter it to you all than have it be an issue later

I dont think "author=admin board=masonstalk" constitutes a url that anyone could use
Tho if folk that are actively playing this game have access to the ullz. for other reasons, then yes they may put 1-1 together

Doodz, I am joining you in mlerose's place. I have no words for how much I love playing Mason. And with Bill again! Woot! Hi all!
I think Zuma needs a kick up the butt, let me go find my comment from the unspoiled thread. It shouldn't be taken too seriously until I've done a full read, though; I've only been skimming.

Dang, I can't go into the unspoiled thread. As I remember it, it boils down to that I don't see Uthrecht's initial "slip" as particularly damning; to me it only reveals surprise that Bill, the obvious target, still lives. (Not sure about his subsequent responses.) Zuma did a lot to point that (IMO non-slip) out, but didn't follow through with a vote.
Not sure it's worth much; as I said, skimming.

As Romola brought up, who did Red call out at the end of day one?
"I would be obliged if someone would look back at bufftabby later on. There was a post she made where she picked like 3 people (including myself) that read to me like she was unsure which player to vote for at the time. She said she was waiting for a response from us before she voted. It seemed like hedging to me. FOSsing with no vote out there yet? Yeah hedging to be sure. There was no real reason for her not to vote for one of us.
Locked in a trunk would be another scum guess on my part. Largely non participatory, and then opportunistic in voting for me. "
Those two. I'm not sure about bufftabby; I have a recent history of completely mis-reading her. Maybe someone else should take a look. LiaT, DEFINITELY.

Yeah, Uthrecht's initial slip could be taken as a null tell, tho his back tracking just dug himself deeper into that hole.
Day ends at 10am eastern tomorrow - so given the flurry over my almost-lynch, I would expect a claim from uthrecht later today.
I've no problem with zeener lynch either - he really tried to rub in the scum mason thing and try to keep alive some doubt as to whether I was town or not.
zuma appears to be trying the stealth approach after yesterDay

Uthrecht has a current post voting for Lucifer. If the facts in it are solid (won't have time to check until tomorrow), I consider it a very townie post.
10 am eastern, really? Blah, I had really hoped to be able to contribute before the day ends. I'll have to do it by proxy, since I won't have time to make a solid case in public.

Has anyone had a good look at moody mitchy? I'm still going for Uthrecht and possibly Duvsie, but if we are looking for at least 4 scum and maybe a 3rd party, all three of those plus locked could be good lynches.

It looks impassed at the moment and i have to go and sleep really soon. I will vote for Uthrecht in the next 20 minutes in the absence of any tactical advice but it looks close between him and 'locked' . I'm thinking 'locked' just looks like a bad player to me, and uthy and moody mitchy look far scummier but will run with advice.

Up to you, as I pretty much have the opposite opinion. Locked looks to me like a bad *scummy* player; and Uthrecht has looked very townie today to me.
I could be wrong; wouldn't be the first time. But that's where I'm at.
If you tie it up (or bring it within 1, not sure exactly how it stands), it should provide some good information for later to see how people react, provided at least one of them is non-town, which I think is pretty decent odds under the circumstances. So strategically, a vote for Utrecht may not be bad even if I'm right and you're not. I'm not so concerned about his not-quite-claim at this point, and whether or not it gets forced into the open -- exposed is exposed, and he already is.
